I am over it.

Last week was soooo nice. I got to wear shorts on one of my runs. It was glorious!!! This week, though, the mornings are dark (thanks a lot daylight savings) and cold (below 20F), it's so darn icy and I am over it. As a coach, I am supposed to stay motivated -- set the example. This week I just can’t do it. Or can I? Taking a small break from running isn’t the worst thing I can do for myself this week. I have spent my extra time meditating and doing yoga, two practices that both strengthen my running practice but also fulfill me in the same way running does. SO I feel lucky to have these other practices to bring balance to my life.
